Final body armor model.
Head piece is made for another class but inspired from the body armor.
Initial sketch model
This garment is made to distort the form of the wearer’s torso. We achieve this by ornamenting the shoulders and upper back, camouflaging the wearer’s silhouette at the chest and upper torso, and transforming the lower segment by having it fold when the wearer sits down. The purpose of this garment is to simultaneously draw attention to the wearer and prevent on-lookers from distinguishing the person’s natural form. It will confound observers and prevent them from scrutinizing the shape of the wearer’s body.
Before the colaboration started, each group member map the intensity pattern of the upper body during an activity as tool to determine the design of the measuring device.
First, we made a measuring device to measure and find points of our torsos and arms to be translated into 3D forms.
