Jiyoun Kim Studio undertook Chahong’s Origin Hair Color product design project.

Origin Hair Color is Chahong’s professional quality hair color product, developed to elevate the experience of hair dyeing at home to a premium hair salon level quality. Jiyoun Kim Studio designed the whole product, including comb, disposable gloves, bottles, package and manual, taking Chahong brand’s sincerity and professionalism into consideration. The focus of the design was to make the whole user experience tidy and organized, from the moment one opens the package, till they finish dyeing and clean up. To achieve this, the manual acts as a placemat, and the package is carefully designed to make every component easy to access. Chahong takes its social responsibility seriously, so every material used is recyclable or biodegradable.
