Colors of Spiti Part III - Defining an Abstract
Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas in the north-eastern part of Himachal Pradhesh. 'Spiti' means 'The middle land', the land between Tibet and India. Spiti has its culture and life built on heavy influence of Buddhism, earning the name Little Tibet.

Rudyard Kipling in his book 'Kim' describes Spiti as: "At last they entered a world within a world – a valley of leagues where the high hills were fashioned of the mere rubble and refuse from off the knees of the mountains… surely the Gods live here".
Can we define peace?
Is it external?
Or internal?
Can it be as mighty as the mountains?
Or may be as insignificant as a twig?
Are they thinking about you?
Has the sky embraced the glass panes?
The crescent or the summit, what do you see?
I believe in co-existence.
Of things little and large!
Of Human and Animal.
You and the Earth.

"Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground."(Exodus 3:5)
