Pico de gallo
ES — Un proyecto de identidad visual e interiorismo que revitaliza la historia de un antiguo gallinero situado en pleno centro de tascas de Vila-real (Castellón). La artesanía, las texturas naturales y la vegetación son el punto focal y los elementos principales del proyecto.
Todas las salas del espacio deparan alguna sorpresa, ya que cada una de ellas representa distintos ambientes de la vida campestre (salas El gallinero, El campo, Las flores y La jaula), todas unidas por un único diálogo, por elementos interconectados y por la misma paleta de colores.
La materialidad y la paleta de colores enriquece un edificio de importante herencia histórica. Esta paleta representa el terracota de lo artesano, el beige de la paja y las palmas, el verde de la naturaleza y el azul del Mediterráneo.
EN — Pico de Gallo is a visual identity and interior design project that revitalises the history of a former chicken coop located in the heart of Vila-real (Castellón, Spain). Handwork, natural textures and vegetation are the focal point and the main elements of the project.
All the restaurant rooms hold some surprise since each one of them represents different scenes of country life (with rooms such as The Chicken Coop, The Countryside, The Flowers and The Cage), all united by a single dialogue, interconnected elements and the same colour palette.
The materiality and the colour palette enrich a building with an important historical heritage. This palette represents the terracotta of craftmanship, the beige of straw and palms, the green of nature and the blue of the Mediterranean.
