The Animal Behaviour series continues with this large character. The idea was inspired by the idea of image on vehicles. How people relate to their status based on the size and expense of the car or bike they drive. This was first shown in the earlier piece "Riding High" with the giraffe in the 2CV. I wanted to also show the same principle with a motorcycle. So, after some research, the idea of the humble Vespa came to mind, and to exaggerate it's importance, a might creature was needed. It seemed obvious, due to the nature of the engine noise, that the ideal character would be a big cat. I liked the idea of painting a tiger, with it's magnificent stripes and colours.

It took some effort to pose the tiger on the vehicle, as the tiger is larger in scale that a typical human, but after some work it was achieved with some great affect.
