《纸上（石）拾遗》是我“书籍设计艺术研究”一课的课堂作业。是一本内容与化石有关的科普手工书。
Pick-up (fossils) on paper is my class assignment of “Book Design Art Research”. It’s a handmade science book about fossils.
标准字｜TYPEFONT
在标准字的设计上，估计将“拾”字写成错别字——在右边半部分的“合”中间加了一笔，变成了“石”。希望能有一些幽默的谐音梗在里面体现。在笔画与笔画的连接之处，故意将其断开，表现出化石的破碎感。
In the design of typefont, it is estimated that the word “拾”is written as a typo -- adding a stroke in the middle of the right half of the “合” to turn it into a “石”. I hope there’s some humor in it. In the connection between the stroke and the stroke, deliberately cut it off, showing the sense of broken fossils.
内容｜contents
在内容的选择上，整理出了一条生物进化树，再基于时间线与地质分层，进行了简单的分类，完成了目录的设计。

排版｜layout
在内页的设计上，采用了仿旋风装的装帧方式，露出每一页的地角。并且在天头与地脚上，填充了颜色明度不一样的棕色，模拟了不同的地质时期。
In the design of the inner pages, the use mock of a 旋风 binding , exposed the feet of each page. And in the margin, filled with a different color lightness of brown, to simulate different geological periods.
