East 54 is a new urban village of luxury condos, shops and dining, right in Chapel Hill. As a participant in the LEED® Neighborhood Development pilot program, East 54 is among the most environmentally sound, mixed-use communities in the country.
Carolina Bomanite was honored and thrilled when we were approached by Dishner and Moore Architects, from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, about incorporating some cutting edge techniques into the decorative concrete for this project. With a planned entrance roundabout, and multi-use parking plaza, the idea was to create interesting pedestrian friendly paving throughout.
