Area for dogs on the train

Problems
While traveling with my dog for many hours all over the country, I noticed that there are really no seats for bigger quadrupeds in train cars in Poland.
Mostly the dog lies under our feet causing discomfort to ourselves and other passengers.
 Objectives:
- separating the dog from the rest of the passengers
- taking care of the comfort of the dog owner and the pet

First concepts
The main reason for the creation of the Dog Zone project is to notice the problem of lack of space for pets in trains. They have to lie under the legs of their owner, who cannot put his legs comfortably. He can rarely go to the restroom because there is nowhere to attach the dog to. The animal has no way to drink water and change its position. This is uncomfortable on long journeys for both animal and its owner. Some passengers wish the dog wasn’t present there, so often the owner and the dog have to change places. The idea of the project was to modify the seat at the end of the compartmentless carriage, which could be moved or folded, creating more space for the dog. However, when there is no animal in the carriage, the seat is unfolded. Additionally the goal is to add necessary items such as a drinker, a leash clip or a mat to protect the floor.
