Through Smoke

Commuting has a large impact on modern life. Especially when commuting you have to face a lot of dirty surroundings.

As we get more and more aware of bacteria and pollution, personal hygiene plays an even bigger part in our day to day life. During the time of travel commuters also face emotional pressures: feeling stressed, insecure, exhausted and rushed.

Our aim is to create a jewellery line that would reduce the influence of daily irritations you have to face while commuting. We want to achive this by effecting the mood through scent and colour. Using methodes of handcrafting to redefine and develope these objects into something beautiful and unique.

The actual design of the jewellery is based on the microscopic image of the scent that is incorporated in the necklace. The beads that are used are scented with the matching aroma. By intergrading a tube with the aroma in a perfume you have the possibility to intensify the scent.

Every aroma has its own quality to improve your own personal space and that of people around you.
