FORUM EASTER EGG X BAD BUNNY - PACKAGING DESIGN

Hi everyone! I couldnt be more happy to share this project with you all. I had the pleasure to be part of the team that develop the packaging design of the Easter egg for the great collaboration between bad bunny and adidas “BAD BUNNY x ADIDAS FORUM EASTER EGG”.

The objective of this kit was to design a packaging that should protect and secure the product in the delivery process around the world for different influencers, generate a great impact at first sight, be different, be related to the product, brand, colors and design. And finally an excellent unboxing experience of the one hundred packaging that where produced for the limited edition of the FORUM 84 BB.

Inspired by the similarity of his season name product (Easter sweets), we used the birth of a new life as a concept to connect the launch of the new product, it was special because the egg shape sometimes represents in the customs of some countries the surprise of a new life or a gift inside, in this case the new collaboration between Bad Bunny and adidas “BAD BUNNY x ADIDAS FORUM EASTER EGG”.

My part was to design, make the production guidelines and follow the production process. We have two weeks to execute the entire project, from the design, to the production. It was sended around the world to different influencers, designers, singers, athlets, such as Marcelo, Karol G, Tainy and others.

The decisions in the design have a reason to be, first we need to create an egg form, it has to be perfect and represent in some way the colors of the product and also the typical candy eggs of the season, it was a satisfying process because the product itself (FORUM 84 BB) has the pink pastel colors we need to relate the Easter season, in terms of graphic design we decide to maintain it minimalistic and that's why we produce a special sheet of acrylic with the PANTONE pigment of the product, also we decide to use a gloss finishing and has to be a non translucent material to maintain the surprise inside the egg.

For the production we use the nearest pantone to produce the pellets for the acrylic sheets PANTONE 7612 C.

In the front of the packaging we placed the lock-up logo (adidas trefoil - bad bunny) in white ink.

In the interior we place a card with a general description of the product printed in digital format with propalcote paper with the nearest CMYK colors of the product pantone.

Also in the ribbon we use the lock up logo in black ink with the same process (serigraphy).
