Balancing in the Loop-A Kinetic Sculpture
Story & Inspiration
My interest in kinetic art motivated me to design a kinetic sculpture to record and reflect my daily life in Fall 2021 semester. In this semester, I was stuck into the repetitive weekly routine of reading and writing exercise, and designing a kinetic installation contributes to the balance between theoretical and practical exercise. Inspired by my routine, I attempt to add the concept of balance and endless loop to my project design, which can be reflected in the dynamic movement and the shape of Möbius ring.
