Some recent logo projects
This is a little collection of logos from recent projects. Here and there I have included variations that were rejected by client but offer a glimpse into the design process.
Spanish hotel chain.
British tele-marketing company
Logo for Mootoo Model Management a German/Spanish modelling agency.
The client wanted a simple, friendly logo with a ‘human face’.
Logo for an Irish restauranteur.
They used Twitter as a marketing tool to launch the pop-up restaurant CrackBird.
Logo for travel company.
They specialize in surfing, kiteboarding, snowboarding and windsurfing holidays.
Logo for UK-based holiday rentals company.
They specialize in holidays in the Canary Islands.
Logo for a dutch doctors practice.
They wanted the logo to have the traditional medical feel but also wanted the idea of ‘Vrije Gang’
(roughly translates as ‘free or open access’).
One of the preliminary logo sketches for Music by Mouse - taking a decidedly ‘Rock’  approach.
The final logo was the much more toned-down and more familiar to the target market - the Amazon.com user.
Logo for a real estate agent based in the Costa Brava in Spain.
This area is known for it’s castles, rolling hills and coastline.
Logo for German ‘Waste-2-Energy’ company.
They extract oil and other combustion mediums from old tires.
Logo for German ‘Waste-2-Energy’ company.
They produce methane by the anaerobic digestion of industrial inorganic waste.
Logo for a series of Music DVD’s.
The logo had to be flexible enough to allow for various text changes: 3 kings of ROCK, BLUES, JAZZ etc...)
Logo sketch for licklibrary.com - the world’s foremost producer of backing track driven tutorials for guitarists.
This logo was put aside in favour of a more ‘friendly’ and obviously guitar orientated version.
Logo for licklibrary.com
This is the logo as it is being used today.
Logo for a Golf resort and property development project in Fuerteventura (Spain).
Logo for a Swedish clothing boutique who create ‘wearable art’.
The clothing is designed by a South African fashion designer and then hand painted and worked by a dutch fine artist.
Logo for an Apart-hotel complex in Lanzarote (Spain).
Logo for a sails and awnings manufacturer.
No logo too weird.
This logo was designed for a company who have developed a way to ‘exercise’ fish that are kept in fish farms.
Apparently salmon raised on fish farms are given artificial coloring in their food. Fish Gym does away with this need by introducing the right diet and ensuring the fish attend regulate gym classes ;-).
Logo for professional big wave surfer Rob Small.
His company provides tow-in surfing, stand up paddle boarding and guided surfing holidays in Lanzarote (28º North).
Rob wanted the logo to break with traditional surf-related logos and to look more like it could be used for racing.
