As the lead designer, myself and another designer redesigned the Glyphix website. (Glyphix is a student run design studio in the School of Visual Communication Design at Kent State University). We wanted to have a site that was conversational and functional. We created subpages to show our studio, our work, and our history. The audience for the site was upper level students and alumni. The site needed to communicate to design students with applying for Glyphix, and it needed to connect with alumni to inform them of the wonderful things that the students are doing and how they could support the student-run studio. All research, design, and content implication for the site was completed by our design team. Read Less

Glyphix homepage: Showing Our Studio, Our Work, and Our History.
Our Work: Consisted of a galleria showing the work that Glyphix has done along with 3 case studies that highlight the research, the partnerships, and the variety of paper engineering.
Case Study Page
Our History Page: This page highlights Alumni and invites them to get involved and support Glyphix. Most of the photos were taken from slides all the way from the 1970's. Most of the work did not have information to go with it, so we are hoping that through this site and through linkedin, Alumni can connect with the current Glyphix staff and talk about previous projects.
