Data Tamasha 2021 "Unboxing Data for Digital Economy"

Data Tamasha is a biennial event that showcases the role of data in development and how data can make a difference in our community. It brings together data enthusiasts, leaders and practitioners across industries, private and public sector, academia, and civil society organizations. It involves dialogues, panel discussions, presentations, fireside chats, showcases, interactive sessions, exhibitions and public outreach activities. The 2021 theme, "Unboxing Data for Digital Economy" is the third Data Tamasha event expected to bring together over 1,000 participants from all over the world. We where tasked to bring the Creative Visuals on this Campaign cross-cutting all platforms. Our objective centered on integrating the Un-Boxing concept with the identifiable character of respectable Sub- theme which included (Journalism, Climate change, Gender, Business, Agriculture, Water and Sanitation Hygiene, Health, Employment, Education, Data Governance) each one with distinctive components and trait through an unconventional aesthetical perspective. The Execution style was inspired by Isometric illustrations & art  and reinforced by a carefully selected traits. The project outcome results in a Campaign departing from the conventional
In a neutral and timeless Brand behaviors, the style developed for this project especially in tackling digital spaces, exemplifies the Visual dynamism & diverseness through a contrasting exercise, employing boldness and hierarchy as the visual guide. Each theme Box, was developed to represent it's core value. We chose to diversify the Shot angles, and apply supportive colors of the background to akin the theme boxes character to stand out.
Each Box carries a core theme and ideology of what it should represent, with that in mind, our approach was to design the most common and identifiable character in each theme.
Digital Video Style & Treatment 
In trying to make the campaign more effective, we wanted to maintain the look and feel of Designed Box adaptable to any sort of environment, With this in mind, executing video animations, we wanted to achieve that dynamism, and also colorful vibrant. So we introduced cool color palettes that would be suitable to embrace visual contrast between Box and Backgrounds

Event Set Up & Mock-up
The Event Location and Venue, where all located in same compound (University of Dar es Salaam College for Information Technology, CoICT), so the major Important zones that needed emphasis were, The Auditorium, The Entrance Arc, Registration Portals, Food and Exhibition Court and Photo booth. Final execution of the event set-Up was implemented by the ever-green Marketing Firm FERN, but our co-operation in trying to give the event historical feel and unforgettable experience was worth a share,
