Enhancia reached out to me to create a unique video for the release of the Plume companion software for their midi controlling ring Neova.
The initial video brief was for a video with alternating cgi and live action shots to give life to each one of the four gestures of Neova: Vibrato, Pitch Bend, Tilt and Roll.
After months of planning and brainstorming for the cgi parts of the video, we set out to shoot the live parts of the video.
During the shooting I had the ideas for two unplanned hybrid shots to better tie everything together: the ring wearing/plume screen reveal, and a front shot with the environments blending into the scene.
Both shots were tracked and created using Blender's built-in tools, along with the free software and plugin fspy.
Each of the gesture's environments were created to give life and add a bit of depth and expressivity to them, describing both the hand movements hand their effect on the sound.
