The journey of a child's perception of beauty- from being non-existent, to relatives saying "bright colours don't suit dark skin" and growing up in an environment saturated with the fairness trend; it's a long way to go. And wherefore, we're learning to cherish Unlearning. Together, we're unlearning the standards and the "ideal". Together, we're realising and admiring our own beauty. The course might be tough, but the destination is worth so much more.
