On July 11th 2019, My Montreal Canadiens 3rd Jersey Concept first appeared on HabsInstaClub Instagram page, then made its way through various social media platforms and generated a ton of likes, discussions and interest among hockey fans. Even reactions from ex Canadiens forward Max Domi.
On June 11th 2020, a poll was created by journalist Josh Wegman from TheScore.ca. 50% Fans voted for my concept jersey out of three different designs.
And finally, on November 16th 2020, Adidas and the Montreal Canadiens released the exact same design for their "Reverse Retro" jersey campaign made for each team across the NHL. The Canadiens are a very traditional team, they've had the same sweater for more than 100 years, so for them to release my design was a great honour. No credit was ever given to me by Adidas, but just an awesome feeling!
