SRVNT: Ahadun Ahad Poster

SRVNT - Ahadun Ahad Poster
This was the first poster design as part of SRVNT Creative Network Daawah Initiative. The Call of Tawheed

The artwork for the poster was inspired by the story of Bilal Ibn Rabah RA who was one of the men closest to Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Bilal's life began as a slave, survived many tortuous years, was the first person to make the adhan (call to prayer). The story of Bilal is told time and time again about the concepts of pluralism and racial equality which are embedded in Islam.

When Bilal declared his acceptance of the message of Islam, his life or drudgery and abuse turned into a nightmare of pain. Bilal was attracted to the concept of One God, Ahad and it was that word that essentially saved his life, even under immense pain and torture he declared his dependence on Allah alone and knew his place as a slave of Allah.
Al-Quran - Surah Al-Ikhlas (112:1) : Say, "He is Allah , [who is] One.
