I feel as though back then the concept of 'realism' is what you could possibly see in the realms of the 'real', however in this current time we can bring to life fantasy creatures and elements into the so called 'real world' and with that I will capture the new realism through illustration and drawing with traditional tools and principles of paper and colouring pencils.

The drawing will be inclusive of the themes and elements of anthropomorphism, post human, petri dish, and to study sea life texture and to incorporate those into my new post aquatic sea human.

The future human or the post human growing amongst the contaminants of the environmental and social developments within the scientists petri dish, and the incompetent human willpower has resulted in a world of global warming and the sea undeniably rising, perhaps our final form of humanity to survive will be amongst the ever warming sea life and maybe even a grotesquely sea textured skin and adaptability to live our days of salvation and human spirit endearment. Alongside curiosity for our survival, the years advance and the secret experiments take place, once a designer baby to be ridiculous is now out of the absurdity in comparison, abandonment and resources to space has diminished and perhaps be picked up once again when we unlock the very secrets and depths of the ocean. This is the world and what the post human has become in this realm of depicting the real. Dystopian, post-apocalyptic and finding the beauty within the destruction and abstraction of not creating but destroying.
