Start by painting your base color. I have used a Jotun yellow (8278) semi-gloss to uplift the look of classic furniture. You will want to let this dry and cure for at least 30 hrs before you move on
When your paint is cured it is time to move on and mark your desired lines on wall with the help of chalk
Once you have all of your lines drawn, just tape in between the Chalk marks and paint over them with your stripe color.I have used basic white as a top coat/stripe color.
ROLL,ROLL & ROLL .. fill in any spots you couldn’t reach with your brush.
Here's the look with crisp and perfect lines !
Let the First Coat dry for a few hours and then get started on your Second coat .When you are happy with your coverage you can start to peel off the tape.
I hope that this helped you know how to paint stripes on walls.
Come back :)
