BRIEF: 

Design a digital publication for any existing magazine to be viewed on a tablet device such as an iPad. Include both vertical and horizontal layouts in your publication.

 

CONCEPT: 

With the age of connectivity, the demand for interactivity in all aspects of life is greatly growing. I designed my app with this in mind including a number of interactive windows and content that would keep the reader interested without distracting him/her from the original content.

 

I therefore went with the idea of interactivity that directly enhances a the content. This includes an interactive panoramic tour, videos, revolving picture, product spins, hot links to relevant pages and music that overall enhances user experience.  Visually, I kept the app looking minimalistic and clean using a black background to aid the reader in using the app outside in the sun. Great importance was placed on the functionality of the text and therefore careful considerations were kept with visual hierarchies.
