The task: food photography.

The concept: Holiday food photography.

I took these photos during our food photography portion of class. As the holidays are approaching I found it fitting to do a holiday inspired shoot. I went for some of the classics during Christmas time: cookies and hot chocolate. 

The assignment consisted of two parts, one still food photo, and one spill photo. I had a lot of fun shooting these. Getting messy with the first photo was lots of fun, and I got a nice action shot.

Both were shot with the Nikon D500 and edited in Lightroom.
