The Turks and Caicos Islands are made up 30-40 islands + cays and about 8 islands are inhabited.
There’s always a playful rivalry going between islanders, so with the TCI based WAVES Magazine being culture centered, we decided to pick fun at where we all ‘really’ come from, using an Instagram Filter game.
When in use, players will be randomly assigned an island or cay to indicate where they’re from. Each card is colour-coded with the designated colour which represents the island or cay, an Easter egg to traditions.
This filter also gives current + prospective tourists an opportunity to feel immersed into Turks culture even if it’s just virtually.
