Radial Information Architecture designed by Hernan Ordoñez
This animation was created to be projected on a screen in the main window of the European Design Institute at Barcelona (IED Barcelona) announcing the new Master of Information Graphic Design, which was launched in January 2014. This Master is directed by Hernán Ordoñez, designer graphic and professor from Buenos Aires, trained at FADU-UBA .
Regarding the essence of our animation, we try to communicate with simple elements, clear and concise messages. "Less is More". The video begins with an explosion that emulates the data expansion within this information era in which we live, followed by the creation of a world based on migratory points symbolizing the birth of the new Master of Information Graphic Design. Thereafter animation graphics relies on data circles, data curves, data maps, Infogrphic displays... in order to communicate what the Master is about, showing a brief introduction of some of the graphical methods used in the design of information display that are to be accessed.
