IMAGEN PROMOCIONAL CLUB DE RUGBY EDETANS MONCADA
El CREM quería actualizar su imagen de cara a la nueva temporada 2021/2022 y contaron con nosostros para llevarla a cabo.
Es un equipo de rugby, con lo que teníamos que darle una imagen fuerte a la vez que amable, para que pueda atraer tanto a nuevos aficionados como a posibles nuevos jugadores.
Optamos por relacionar su imagen con el propio nombre del club; los edetanos eran los antiguos iberos que vivían en la zona comprendida entre el Río Sucro (Júcar - Valencia) al sur y el Río Idubeda (Mijares - Castellón) al norte.
Así que con esta premisa, decidimos que la imagen principal serían edetanos jugando a rugby. Nos lanzamos a ilustrar cuatro guerreros/as edetanos (dos mujeres y dos hombres); para ello buscamos en libros de historia para más o menos hacernos una idea de como vestían y además les aplicamos una pizca de imaginación por nuestra parte; así obtuvimos cuatro personajes con una base fidedigna y alguna licencia creativa. El colorido de los ropajes es una interpretación de la primera equipación del equipo adaptada a la vestimenta.
¿Porque cuatro guerreros? Además de que para el cartel de captación los unimos a todos, en cada cartel anunciador de partido utilizamos a uno sólo, lo que nos permite ir alternándolos y dar variedad a la cartelería; eso también ayuda a la parrilla de instagram, que aún siendo similar es distinta.
Para completar la imagen, buscamos una tipografía que se asemejase al antiguo alfabeto ibero/edetano, así en nuestra investigación dimos con los glifos y su interpretación. Así que decidimos usarlo, en las franjas decorativas superior e inferior en alfabeto íbero pone "Edetans partido de liga territorial rugby C Valenciana".

CREM wanted to update their image for the new 2021/2022 season and they counted on us to carry it out.
It is a rugby team, so we had to give it a strong and friendly image, so that it can attract both new fans and potential new players.
We choose to associate your image with the name of the club itself; "Edetanos" were the ancient Iberians who lived in the area between the Sucro River (Júcar - Valencia) to the south and the Idubeda River (Mijares - Castellón) to the north.
So with this premise, we decided that the main image would be "edetanos" playing rugby. We set out to illustrate four Edetan warriors (two women and two men); for this we look in history books to more or less get an idea of how they dressed and we also apply a pinch of imagination on our part; thus we obtained four characters with a trustworthy base and some creative license. The color of the clothing is an interpretation of the team's first kit adapted to the clothing.
Why four warriors? In addition to the fact that for the recruitment poster we unite them all, in each game announcing poster we use only one, which allows us to alternate them and give variety to the posters; that also helps the Instagram grid, which even though it is similar is different.
To complete the image, we looked for a typeface that resembles the ancient Iberian / Edetan alphabet, so in our research we came up with the glyphs and their interpretation. So we decided to use it, in the upper and lower decorative stripes in the Iberian alphabet it says "Edetans match of territorial league rugby C Valenciana".
