Crystal
This drawing began from an Inktober prompt for the word "crystal." I wanted to create something with a storybook feel and give it a touch of classic pen and ink illustration. This was also a good excuse to practice some scrollwork, which I haven't done much of in the past and have been eager to work on in new drawings.
As always, this drawing began with pencil, and I fully laid out the design and details before beginning the inking process.
