Pill shaped pin made out of sterling silver. The gold part was made with the keum-boo technique, an ancient Korean technique in which thin sheets of gold are applied to silver by heating and putting the piece into acid ten times, then placing the piece onto a hot surface and carefully pushing the gold sheet using a burnisher.
