Yield Stools
Designed for YIELD:Making Fashion Without Making Waste
The Yield stool was designed as complimentary, mobile furniture for the Yield Exhibition and developed through materials research and manipulation of the sustainable cardboard sheet used throughout, Xanita board.

The stool combines digital cutting techniques with a system of pine wedges, enabling the material to be manipulated into an open-backed, stackable form.

Light in many ways, a number of stools were originally cut from the test print for the garment patterns used in the exhibition, whilst others feature graphic elements from the show, designed by Gerbrand Van Melle.
