EN-US:
Comfort & protection for your baby!
Baby Protex was created from the problem that a couple’s daughter had with mosquitos, since she was allergic to repellents. The discovery of the citronela candle was a saving grace for the entire family, thus being the couple’s mission to help more families protect their children.

The biggest challenge in the development of the logo’s design was representing protection for babies or children, together with the idea of familial love, the one that was presente and was fundamental to the brands origin.

The major references, as seen below, were children’s hygiene products and healthcare in general, closer to healthcare products for children than the citronela candles on the business, specifically.

Looking to represent protection to babies or children, a symbol was developed that representes a child sleeping inside a heart, representing, also, familial love, as explained previously.

For the making of the symbol, grids were used to accomplish na harmonious and geometric resulto on the logo. The grids can be seen in the image to the side, Where They are all lined in red,on top of the light grey symbol.
Chasing versatility, creating more possibilities for the icon’s use, the logo possesses a few variations, having signatures on the horizontal, vertical and in circular format, other than the variety of colors that can be used and applied.
Working as an excellent communication tool, the pattern is a powerful visual ellement in visual identity, connecting with the public through small icons and illustrations, as show non the side, repeating in a systematic manner. The illustrations that make up the pattern are: Sun, Heart, Moon and Flower.
