Rocket Raccoon is a character from the up-coming (2014) movie Guardians of the Galaxy, based on the Marvel comic characters. My poster is one of three, with the others created by two other artists featuring Dr Who (Peter Capaldi) and Godzilla (2014 movie).

 

The posters are exclusive to editions of the mag only sold at Tesco. Editions of the magazine bought in other retail outlets do not feature the posters. Phew!

 

Interesting fact, if the name "Rocket Raccoon" sounds familiar to you then you have probably heard the beatles song "Rocky Raccoon" from the White Album. This is no coincidence; the boys at Marvel in the 70's were influenced by Paul McCartney singing about a gun-toting raccoon and his attempt to win back the "girl of his fancy."
