Synopsis
Harry is a completely hairy person whose hair rapidly grows and falls out again. He tries to deal with this problem and to keep his apartment in order before his lost hair gets out of hand.
About
This film was made as my graduation film of the Bachelor Animation at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. I worked on this film for over half a year. I was animating for 4 months. The whole movie is ink on paper, after I animated it digitally.

Character and Scene Exploration
I used ink to sketch some early scenes and the character design. Since the whole film was supposed to be in ink, it was logical for me to do the sketches in ink as well. Here is a selection of a few pages.
Storyboard Example - Page 69-73
The whole storyboard of the animation was done in Adobe Photoshop. It was a much faster way to do this digitally than on pen and paper. The final storyboard was used to make an animatic in TVPaint. This allowed me to work on the scenes and editing for the final film. Here is an example of page 69-73 of the broom scene.

Animation Process
I animated the movie in TVPaint and printed out the whole film and traced the digital lines with ink and brush. After that I scanned everything and used Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro for backgrounds, post processing and final editing.
