Configuration of Form in Painting
FORM STUDY
The VHC201 Configuration of Form in Painting course focuses on the concept of form configuration in drawing and painting. Formalism's look, spatial shape, and colour are all references in the shape configuration. Painting studio discipline is imposed. The importance of colour theory and its application to painting techniques is emphasised.
I'm experimenting with lines, strokes, basic forms, textures, planes, colour mixing, and other techniques on my own self-portrait. I even put the drawings together in a GIF to show the progression from simple strokes to complete shape.
