Speed by The Cue Tube - Rock Score by Dark Side of Synth

This is my score for Speed by The Cue Tube. A short documentary about human fascination for speed. A funky, and hard rock score to accompany this fast-paced journey with horses, trains, racing cars and motorbikes, planes and spaceship, to go as fast as you can.

Besides the music, I have also included a few sound design elements, like whooshes and risers to build up tension, and the green light sound.

The smooth, funky groove at the beginning is reprised at the end of the video, to then turn fully electronic for the end titles.

The score turns into full-on hard rock for the motorbike racing scene.

The space shuttle part begins with synths to then welcome electric guitars and turn more groovy as the narration evolves.

There are several elements: several synthesizers, electric bass, 9 electric guitar parts, electric piano, drums, and things I have probably forgotten about ;)
