Personal project: Experimental pixel art/glitch music video for my dungeon synth/noise music act Disgusting Cathedral. I wanted to evoke early CG imagery where the final product was transferred to film rather than viewed in realtime on a monitor, combining this subtly distressed/analog look with the pixel-art aesthetic of 80's home computers and consoles.
The images and footage were created and animated with a combination of different techniques using Adobe After Effects, 8bit Photo Lab, eboy's 'The Grix', and the Game Boy Camera. I used film dirt/grain from some of my own 16mm footage.
