SouthWest Center City Philadelphia was researched to investigate the air quality of the neighborhood. A airfilter device was constructed to be placed on "STOP" sign poles, to collect particles moving through the air. The density of particles on the devices over time, will display the purity of the air in the community.
Two airfilter devices were placed in the neighborhood. At dominate locations of both human and vehicle traffic.
The devices consist of two different airfilter types combined into one construct. The top filter; a woven fiber. The lower filter; a cloth pleated filter
Debri and particles collected. The airfilters will discolor and be filled with multple dirt and dust samplings.
