On a land suited inside of Damascus University, Students were asked to design an Exhibition building and gallery for the university students’ projects or the public alike. The shape was supposed to be the result of the student carving inside a cuboid.
 

The challenge was to create a shape that would be as smooth and artistic as possible, and yet for it to be a building with people making it a living object. To achieve that I divided the cuboid into structural slices that each has its unique shape and together they form the façade, the outer shell and holding the building slabs, walls and defines the interior spaces form.
