This is an illustration I worked up to use for myself, thinking it would look nice on the wall in the studio. I really dig the way it turned out and now I plan on pressing my business cards out of it.
For those who aren't familiar, the drawing is of a calligraphy nib. These often come with a logo or crest engraved on the surface with the makers name and country of origin. Thought I would do that for myself as a cool logo.
The design is all pen and ink in black, with metallic gold highlights. I may do a revision with the monogram where I slide the "M" a bit lower and have the "3" hook under the "T", but it's well balanced the way it is and I do like how the "3" curls around the breather hole of the nib.
