T APARTMENT
Minsk-belarus
2021

The project represents a one-room apartment for one resident in a new building in Minsk. A living room with bed space, a separated kitchen, a separate bathroom unit, a hall, and a storage space occupy an area of 56 sq. meters.
The apartment is styled in a simple contemporary manner with an archaic traditional spirit peculiar to Third Wave Architects, thus maintaining timeless aesthetics of design. The interior is minimalistic enough, though cozy and impressive. Such combination is achieved through simple shapes, unity, and the naturality of materials.
All built-in furniture has the brown wood grain that warmly enfolds the gray space of the rooms. The white oak parquet is laid across the total floor space. Combined with dark furniture, it creates soft though prominent contrast. The walls are covered with monotone pale gray weaving-surface wallpaper. Due to such wallpaper, the interior is perceived as home and tactile comfortable. The floor in the separate bathroom unit is made of small format porcelain stoneware with the original stone texture.
