An editorial illustration to support an article about the recent record-high marijuana use and record-low binge drinking among college students, these illustrations capture the unintentional dependency to the plant. 

The illustrations and visual expression collectively tell a story through the pop art. Drawing from the imagery of comic books, halftones and paper cut shapes were explored.
