The client is a new mother who is experiencing mental and physical tiredness with having a financial disadvantage. The shelter pod design is for these mothers and babies to stay in a community for a certain period of time to overcome their life and find a new world.
For the design concept of mother-baby shelter pod, I incorporated the philosophy of my life. I have once experienced the moment that I want to give up everything and run away from what I have got to do. However, what I learned after going through the hard time was that the success comes to the people who challenge themselves, overcome, and never give up. Therefore, I designed the pod that can provide motivating, cheerful, and hopeful environment for the mothers and babies.
