Second Floor Plan - Planta Segundo Piso
The aim for this project was to create a house in a terrain in La Calera, near Bogotá, using a reference house as a starting point. The house assigned was the Caoma House, made by Carlos Raúl Villanueva. The idea was to analyse the reference house and understant its essence.

Villanueva proposed a house that turned its back to the city while opening itself to a big garden. It provided spaces that connected the inhabitant with nature.

The house in La Calera was designed using the same principle. A series of walls were organised in such a way that the user has no view of the house before entering it. In fact, the entrance is reduced to a small door in the corner of the Facade. The other side of the house, however, has big windows that open to an impressive landscape downhill.
