I had the amazing opportunity to become a Domêstika teacher, with my newly launched course in Composition and Color for Textile and Surface Design.
Within the lessons of the course I talk about my inspiration and I bring the students inside my design process.
The whole course is focused on the development of a collection of printed fabrics, and I go through all the steps: The concept behind a collection, Trend analysis and forecasting, Research and personal archives; then Studying a brief, Creating a Mood board, Creating Mock-ups and Finalizing the pattern collection.
Lastly, I go through all the printing tips, as well as some technical and creative recommendations throughout the process.
