- Often, people overlook the simple beauty that surrounds us as we go about our lives. We ignore, forget and deny the dying trees, the endangered flora and the severe impacts the destruction of the environment can do to us as individuals and a civilization. My photos capture the focus of the beautiful environment around us as a reminder to smell the roses before it is too late, how we already use nature as a representative to what is important to us, and to remember there is beauty in the disgusting and icky.
