For this brand the challenge was to create a brand for an existing chain of hotels that didn’t had a brand to solidify them all together. This chain belongs to Hilton Colón Hotels located in Ecuador.

I had to design this brand inspired by the existing brand from Hotel Hilton Colón in order to create a connection between these two brands. We started designing the brand Hotelera Genovese inspired from the naming and the graphics by the concept of Christopher Columbus and the Spanish conquest of the Americas. 

Since Hotel Hilton Colón uses Christopher Columbo’s caravel as its isotype, I designed for Hotelera Genovesa the three caravels that conquered America maintaining the same colors and graphic style. This way, we also highlight the idea that Hotelera Genovesa is the main brand which contains all the caravels.
