Resource HR is a 3 hours challenge I participated in. It's non commercial.
The challenge was to characterize and create a flow to an HR Software that will be used both by employers and employee.
The challenge was really straight forward. After portraying who are the target users, what is their needs (I find it important to imagine both sides of the party in order to dive in the best solutions UX) actions will they need to perform and how most efficient it can be done via the HR app.
These is the UX MVP I came up with for the employer end:
- notification system
- reports
- recruiting new employees
- clock in system
- vacations absence data
- upcoming events.
The fast UI result is the following:
On an Agile method I thing that a system within to set appointments and recruit should be added. Same goes to employees evolutions.
On the employee end the MVP was this:
- clock in system
- calendar
- personal info
- requests (absence, vacations, sick days)
- notifications

This challenge inspired me. Though it was a quick one, I hope to get back to it, analyze and define more UX to the rest of the system also to more functions with in.
