Through Design Project 2, I am to alter the process of how we build and live within our homes, welcoming plant life and natural life within the house, connecting the artificial world to the natural world.
As I have found instant in designs from a young age, there have always been shows such as 'Grand Designs Australia' on all the time. However, while watching these shows, I found it strange to remove all of the plants and trees to build a raised house, later on planting different trees and plants when the home is completed.
After looking at this idea of living, I found a connection to biophilic designs. After seeing these homes on Instagram and online, I knew I wanted to deepen my knowledge about this form of composition. I will be using a variation of Adobe Substance 3D Stager, Adobe Substance 3D Sampler, Blender, Normande, and Procreate through this process. I aim to create a work that represents Paul Milinski's work, as he creates artificial and virtual worlds but allows the final design to look as if the result could have taken this in the real world.
