Threads of You is a post-punk/new wave band based in South Carolina. The band’s influences include Joy Division, The Cure, and Echo and the Bunnymen.
The goal of this project was to evoke a feeling of early- to mid-80’s nostalgia, while also adding a touch of modern flair. The font Sprat Bold was used as a base for the logo, referencing ITC Benguiat (best known for its association with Stephen King and Stranger Things).

The appearance of texture was given as a nod to the textured sleeve for the original LP of Joy Division’s "Unknown Pleasures". Wear and tear was also added to emphasize the feeling of an old, well-loved record.
