About this project
The information design is about “Deforestation of Tropical Rainforests “. Percentages for each nation in the Americas indicates how much rainforest was destroyed by 2000 and how much will be destroyed (projecting logging levels) by 2030. This project is designed as a visually exciting chart based on the right and adds two additional levels of visual information. The color palette is similar to the rainforest; I used light green for the background and I decided to make different graphics for the chart, like cutting wood for destroyed, trunk and branches for the project, and tree for the remaining.
