ITALIAN GENIUS NOW BRASIL CATALOGUE: Italian Genius Now Brasil is the Brazilian edition of the exhibition that travels around the world featuring some of the Italian art and design icons for the last 60 years. The catalogue was developed using the current edition's pre-existent graphic identity, where Brazilian pop culture icons were taken as inspiration for the visual concept. The main goal was to show the mainstream Brazilian appreciators of art and design that this was an exhibition put together specifically for this public. Taking the concept to the next level, the catalogue comes wrapped in a fruit net, a very popular packaging method in street markets in Brazil. This project has been featured on the 10th Brazilian Biennial of Graphic Design and on the 4th Iberoamerican Biennial of Design of Madrid. Read Less

Italian Genius Now is an exhibition that travels around the world featuring some of Italy’s art and design icons for the last 60 years. The exhibition is curated accordingly to each country that it visits, and so its graphic identity is also customised for the different contexts and target public.

For the Brazilian edition, some of the country’s pop culture icons were taken as inspiration for the visual concept, whilst maintaining the pre-existent logo. The concept for the catalogue was based on this fresh identity, where the main goal was to show to mainstream Brazilian appreciators of art and design that this was an exhibition put together specifically for them.
