IDENCITY: CITY IDENTITY
A publication about Place branding specifically city branding and identity.
The Brief
Compile a nice narrative flow of 3000 words manuscript related to the topic chosen (place branding) with concept-driven creative direction.
The Concept
The chosen concept was inspired from the railway metro map system of lines and circles. A city and their identity is build from a compilation of chosen key aspects that come from parts of the city itself.
The Cover Idea
The outer appearance consists of a jacket and cover. The idea of them is first, the "IDENCITY" as the title on the jacket design with the diecut on the word itself which will reveal a slightly different word at the back of alphabet "C". When the jacket is open, the title "CITY IDENTITY" (with the Spot UV finishing) is reveal which is where "IDENCITY" came from and what is it about. 
The Solution
The colour derived from the colour of the railway metro map. Some of the lines are following the railway lines of respective city. The approach is bold just like wayfinding which should be bold and clear as in legible and readable for people to notice right away. Icons are created and added to some of the 'stops' to have a more variety in presenting
the stops' words.
